Someone gave me a movie called “The Secret-Available on Amazon“ many years ago. It taught me what the Law of Attraction is all about. I watched it over and over and over. I knew I was on to something and because of this movie, it led me to many years of research. I read many books and watched many YouTube videos. I was looking for ways to be happier, healthier, wealthy, and having more confidence. I so much wanted to stop the chatter in my mind and have a direction. I wasn’t miserable, but I knew there had to be more to life. I am going to tell you what is the Law of Attraction about.
So, what is the Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is like a radio which works by transmitting electromagnetic waves. The waves of energy travel at the speed of light and move back and forth very quickly. The frequency radiates outward, a receiver picks up the match, and it translates sound through the radio.
We transmit waves of vibrational energy outward like the radio, and a receiver (the universe) picks it up and sends back a match and creates whatever we may want it to be. Just like radio, a vibrational frequency has to match to play the right sound, the vibrational frequency we send out needs to match to receive what we desire.
When your thoughts and feelings are excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, appreciative, or abundance, you are sending out a positive vibration. On the other hand, if your thoughts and feelings are bored, anxious, stressed, angry, resentful, or sad, you are sending out a negative vibration.
The universe will respond to both and send back what you send out. Whatever you are thinking and feeling at any given time is basically your request to the universe for more of the same.
Therefore, you need to transmit and tune in to what you want to attract to your life.
Understanding how the law works
Understanding how the Law of Attraction works is key to your success. If you want to change your life, you need to understand your role in the Law of Attraction.
Every waking hour, you send out requests to the universe in the form of thoughts with feelings. What you think, read, talk about, and give your attention to. Unfortunately, what you are thinking is often random and not deliberate. You will attract into your life whatever you give your attention to, wanted, or unwanted.
So, you must become more deliberate about what you think and feel. The Law of Attraction will give you access to infinite possibilities, infinite health, infinite abundance, infinite happiness, and infinite joy. It does not know if it is easy or difficult, and it can change your life in every way!
Most importantly, you must become more intentional about the thoughts and your feelings behind the thoughts. First, you will want to decide what you want and practice feeling those emotions you will experience when you have it. Thought and the emotion behind it is the key.
Understanding How To Use It
The law of attraction is working all the time. All this chatter in our mind, our fears, and wants all come back to us in the same way the request was sent out.
If you say I want money, this request will be mixed with whatever it is that is holding you back from having money. Money may be out there ready to send it back, but then you send what might be holding you back from money unconsciously, and life stays the same. That is why we tend to be in the same financial position as our parents. They taught us about money, so your set point is usually about the same unless you deliberately change it.
It is not always easy to deliberately and intentionally change the set point because you need to change your automatic program, your subconscious mind. But first, before you can change your automatic programming, you will have to discover what is holding you back on a conscious level. Until you discover what is holding you back on an automatic level, you do not know it is even there. Through meditation, you can discover these blocks and begin to release them.
Decide what you want!
To become more intentional about the thoughts you send out to the universe, you’ll need to decide what you want. Practice feeling those emotions you will experience when you have it. Maybe you want to change your career, move to another location, win the lottery, heal your body, or have a relationship. Whatever it may be, you can have it.
- How would you feel once you have what you want?
- How do you imagine your day in your new life?
- Who would you be spending your day with?
- What would you hear, smell, and taste?
The more you talk and think about what you want as if you already have it, the closer you are to it being a reality.
By quieting the mind through meditation, being in the present moment, and increasing your vibration, you will be in touch with your subconscious mind where all change happens. The subconscious mind connects to the universal mind where all possibilities are.
What Changes Will Happen
You are the creator of your own life. Look around! You, using the law of attraction, created your life exactly like it is with your thoughts and feelings. Your thoughts are very powerful.
Many people want to blame other people or circumstances for some things they may not like. You will start to realize that no matter what happened in your life, who may have wronged you in some way or another, or circumstances that may have happened, that the only person that is responsible for you is you.
This is a very important change because once you realize that only you are responsible for you, life can become whatever you want it to be. Even if you don’t like what you see, you did create your life this way. Life is created from the inside out, not the other way around. As you make different choices because you know you are responsible:
- You will choose to respond differently to the situations that arise during your day.
- You will choose to think differently.
- You will choose to focus and think about the things you want more of in your life.
- You will choose to experience more joy and happiness.
- You will choose to deliberately participate in the creation of your future by managing your thoughts and feelings.
Using the Law of Attraction doesn’t happen overnight. There are steps to take to start the process, and you will see and feel the changes. But at the same time, you can’t be looking for the change you asked for.
If you were living the life you want, would you be looking for it?
You will become more confident, and the things you want to change in life will come about! Instead of thinking about what you DON’T want, think about what you DO want. Either way, it will manifest. What is it you want to manifest?
How To Raise Your Vibrations To Match What You Want
In order to receive your intent, you must become a “vibrational match” for what you want to attract into your life.
Your thoughts are creating feelings all the time. Feelings are the vibrations that connect to the universe. The thoughts that you think, feelings you feel, and actions you take will determine your experiences tomorrow. So, it is important to be aware of your thoughts and feelings all the time and to catch yourself. Your thoughts are very powerful.
When you feel negative emotions come up, turn them into positive emotions. You can do this by thinking of something happy, become grateful for things that are in your life. Not just saying you are grateful, but truly feeling you are grateful. You can also feel the feelings you would experience if you had what you wanted. Your vibrations will rise; you will feel much better with much more happiness and joy. That’s where you want to be. It takes a conscious effort, but the more you do it, the easier it is, and eventually, you will naturally be at a higher vibration.
This takes time and practice. The more effort you put into following these steps, the easier it will become.
Expect Miracles!!
Realize that whatever you want to attract, you need to give as well. If you want love, give love. Be loving and generous with others.
Be grateful for what you want more of in your life. This is one of the highest vibrations to attract the things you want in your life most. Gratitude is a form of abundance and will automatically attract more abundance in your life.
How To Silence The Mind
Take time each day to meditate. I personally meditate twice a day. The best time to meditate is when you first wake up and just before going to sleep.
During the day, our brain is in Gamma and Beta waves, and we are busy and totally awake and using our minds. When waking up, you are coming out of Delta, which is sleep, and going into Alpha then Theta. Both of these are the perfect time to meditate because you are most in touch with your subconscious mind where changes happen. At night, you are going into alpha. Meditation itself keeps you in alpha or theta. Theta is the goal to stay in when meditating.
We all need this time and space in our lives to have silence to be with ourselves. While in meditation, we can ask for a perfect day and rehearse how it will go. Request to wake up feeling great, and have the best day ever. Ask what is holding us back and just listen for the answers’. The answers’ come, but we need to be in silence sometimes to hear it. Sometimes the answers’ come in as an insight, a feeling, or many other ways. It may even happen during the day. You will get to know how your answers’ come to you best.
You can learn how to meditate in many ways. Some use guided meditation, and others sit quietly and concentrate on the breath or imagine the blackness of the universe and being in the field of all possibilities.
If you are new at meditating, this may help you get started.
- Find a quiet place, sit up, and close your eyes.
- Focus on slowing down your breathing.
- Focus on your breath or a word that soothes you.
- Imagine above your head and the blackness or the light of the universe.
- At this point, you will not really feel your body, and you will be in the now moment. This is where you want to be, and this is where miracles happen.
Regular meditation helps to keep you calm. When you get good at it, you can go into the state easily. Your day goes better; you have less stress and are able to handle whatever comes your way better. You will notice the changes happening and good things coming your way.
Ask, Believe, Receive
Don’t attract it, be it!
Thoughts are things!
Again ask, believe, and receive. Instead of thinking about what you DON’T want, think about what you DO want. Either way, it will manifest. What is it you want to manifest?
Believing you will get what you want means maintaining an expectation that you will have it while going about your day. It is knowing you gave your future to the universe, and you decided with a conviction that it will happen. That you know it is done and then trust it is! Trust!
Again this is not always easy. We have an ego that always wants to save us from ourselves, and it always wants to make itself known.
The ego comes from limiting beliefs that keep us from allowing abundance and happiness. Just keep meditating and keep catching those thoughts. These limiting beliefs are from your past, your parent’s teachers, and other people. Your ego will bring up those feelings. It will bring up that you are not good enough, not deserving, not worthy, not lovable, or not desirable. Other thoughts may come up that are negative feelings from the past. By catching them, you can let them go and move past them.
Once you believe that you will get what you ask for, you will receive it by taking action.
Take The Action!
Taking the actions affirms your belief that what you want is within reach.
Now that you understand more about how you control the process of the Law of Attraction, you can begin to take responsibility for everything you want to attract into your life.
Take this to heart, because this is your moment, your time to begin consciously, intentionally, and deliberately; participating in the creation of the future you desire. Now that you are aware of the role you play in creating your life, you can no longer create your future accidentally or by default! It just takes some time. Keep working on it every day!
- Meditate every day.
- Be more aware of all the great things you have in life and feel absolute gratitude.
- Let go of all doubt and negative thoughts.
